Finally, we build connections between people via their entry in Wikipedia and every person is rated daily based on the density of news articles that are currently appearing on the web. The top rated people will appear each day in the 'In the News' section above.

After growing up in Baltimore and graduating from Forest Park Senior High School, Levinson attended American University in Washington, D.C. before moving to Los Angeles to work as an actor and writer. His first writing work was for variety shows such as The Marty Feldman Comedy Machine, The Lohman and Barkley Show, The Tim Conway Show, and The Carol Burnett Show. This parody of Alfred Hitchcock's greatest hits rather sums up the strengths and weaknesses of Mel Brooks's films. By opting for the best known scenes in Spellbound, Vertigo, North by Northwest and Psycho, he settles for easy laughs and thus misses the chance to kid around with the real aficionados. Moreover, not enough thought has gone into the non-spoof scenes, many of which run out of steam, like the Freudian lecture delivered in euphemisms owing to the presence of a young child. The Sinatra pastiche is a gem and there are many funny moments, but perhaps Hitch was just too self-mocking to be spoofable. Michael Douglas is caught in that Fatal Attraction/Basic Instinct trap again, this time with Demi Moore as a former lover who is promoted above him in a cutting-edge computer corporation run by Donald Sutherland. When Moore seeks to rekindle their passion, the now-married Douglas has second thoughts at a vital moment, and the much-miffed Moore accuses him of sexual harassment. Based on a bestselling novel by Michael Crichton and directed by Barry Levinson, this self-important and unintentionally funny thriller purports to be about corporate power and sexual equality but there's precious little insight here. Moore models some slinky lingerie and Douglas soaks his collars in sweat, while the emphasis on computer gizmos and cyber-babble encourages a verdict of virtual rubbish.
