 | Cracker Another chance to see a story from the second series of the acclaimed drama series. After a violent murder, Fitz is sure the police are on the wrong track, but he and Bilborough have yet to resolve their differences. As the police team clutch at straws, Fitz watches from the wings, unsure whether to offer his help.(Starring:Robbie Coltrane,Barbara Flynn,Christopher Eccleston,Robert Carlyle,Lorcan Cranitch,Geraldine Somerville) Sunday January 10 2010 23:00 - 00:05 |
 | Cracker Fitz and the police bury their differences in an attempt to track the killer, who has now claimed two victims. When a young female journalist becomes the next target, Fitz realises that the killer is a man with a very particular mission.(Starring:Robbie Coltrane,Robert Carlyle,Christopher Eccleston,Barbara Flynn,Lorcan Cranitch,Geraldine Somerville) Monday January 11 2010 00:05 - 01:15 |
 | Shallow Grave This incredibly slick, inventive and, at times, gruesome thriller owes a great deal to the Coen brothers' Blood Simple. It starts with a dead body and a stash of money lying in a huge flat. The deceased man's flatmates decide to dismember and dispose of the corpse (a visit to a DIY shop provides the necessary tools), and retain the money. Things go slightly haywire after that. Made by an ebullient trio of young talent - producer Andrew Macdonald (grandson of film great Emeric Pressburger), director Danny Boyle and scriptwriter John Hodge, also a doctor - the picture bursts with energy and springs some deliciously macabre surprises. Especially brilliant are the use of the cavernous flat and Edinburgh locations and the performances from Kerry Fox, Christopher Eccleston and Ewan McGregor, who are all outwardly ordinary, inwardly strange. Deservedly a box-office smash everywhere, it gave a much-needed shot in the arm to a British film industry preoccupied by Jane Austen and led to the creative trio's even more successful follow-up, Trainspotting. Comparisons with Quentin Tarantino are unfair: Shallow Grave is much cleverer. (Starring:Juliet Miller*Kerry Fox|David Stephens*Christopher Eccleston|Alex Law*Ewan McGregor|Detective Inspector McCall*Ken Stott|Hugo*Keith Allen|Cameron*Colin McCredie|Visitor*Victoria Nairn|Visitor*Gary Lewis|Goth*Jean Marie Coffey|Andy*Peter Mullan) Thursday January 14 2010 21:00 - 22:50 |
 | Cracker Fitz is convinced that the legend of Albie Kinsella looks set to become a tragic reality. The police are sceptical about gambling their resources on a manhunt, but time is running out.(Starring:Robbie Coltrane,Robert Carlyle,Ricky Tomlinson,Christopher Eccleston,Geraldine Somerville,Lorcan Cranitch) Sunday January 17 2010 23:00 - 00:10 |
