About finderFACE
finderFACE is a homegrown web site devoted to keeping tabs on people in the public eye here in the UK.
Every day the site scans Google News, Amazon Products, Flickr Photographs, YouTube Videos and Blog Posts to provide all content relevant to a person on a single page.
In addition, we scan upcoming movie releases and TV appearances and provide sections on these too. Finally, we build connections between people via their entry in Wikipedia and every person is rated daily based on the density of news articles that are currently appearing on the web. The top rated people will appear each day in the 'In the News' section above.
Please browse away, clicking on the Random Person button is often a great way to start. I hope you enjoy the site, please feel free to send any feedback or suggestions to admin@finderface.co.uk.

 | Carry On Dick Packed with more than the usual number of smutty innuendos, this spoof on period adventures, ranging from George Arliss in Dr Syn to the bodice-rippers starring James Mason and Margaret Lockwood, does not live up to the team's previous best. It is chiefly memorable for being Sid James's 19th and last Carry On. He plays feared highwayman Dick Turpin, who masquerades as country vicar the Reverend Flasher. Also playing a double role, Barbara Windsor gives one of her best performances of the series as Turpin's sidekick, while Jack Douglas is good value as the bungling Bow Street runner who simply hasn't a clue. | Robin and Marian In this gorgeous, masterly elegy for a vanished age, an older and disillusioned Robin Hood returns from the Crusades to find Sherwood empty of outlaws, Marian in a nunnery and the Sheriff of Nottingham still fiddling the books. James Goldman's script has a wonderful way with satire and myth-mongering, while Richard Lester has the sharpest eye for historical detail. Audrey Hepburn was lured out of retirement to play Marian and she is exquisite, but it's Sean Connery's gruff, greybeard performance that ennobles, rather than dominates the picture. Great support, too, from Robert Shaw's Sheriff and Ronnie Barker's perfectly judged "heavy relief" as Friar Tuck. What a pity it flopped at the box-office.
