About finderFACE
finderFACE is a homegrown web site devoted to keeping tabs on people in the public eye here in the UK.
Every day the site scans Google News, Amazon Products, Flickr Photographs, YouTube Videos and Blog Posts to provide all content relevant to a person on a single page.
In addition, we scan upcoming movie releases and TV appearances and provide sections on these too. Finally, we build connections between people via their entry in Wikipedia and every person is rated daily based on the density of news articles that are currently appearing on the web. The top rated people will appear each day in the 'In the News' section above.
Please browse away, clicking on the Random Person button is often a great way to start. I hope you enjoy the site, please feel free to send any feedback or suggestions to admin@finderface.co.uk.

 | The Green Mile Set in a Louisiana prison in 1935, this grossly overlong but masterful sentimental fantasy is clearly aimed at the Forrest Gump audience. Tom Hanks plays a warden who forms a life-affirming relationship with a condemned black prisoner, on death row for the murder of two little girls. Suspension of disbelief is essential if you're to enjoy Frank Darabont's reverential adaptation of Stephen King's 1996 novel - all the wardens are angels, bar one. Yet Darabont, directing his first film since The Shawshank Redemption (also a Stephen King prison drama), cleverly manipulates our emotions and only the very hard-hearted will remain dry-eyed throughout or unshocked by the harrowing execution scenes. The film received four Oscar nominations, including best picture and a well-deserved best supporting actor nod for relative newcomer Michael Clarke Duncan as the convicted child-killer.(Starring:Paul Edgecomb*Tom Hanks|Brutus "Brutal" Howell*David Morse|Jan Edgecomb*Bonnie Hunt|John Coffey*Michael Clarke Duncan|Warden Hal Moores*James Cromwell|Eduard Delacroix*Michael Jeter|Arlen Bitterbuck*Graham Greene (2)|Percy Wetmore*Doug Hutchison|"Wild Bill" Wharton*Sam Rockwell|Toot-Toot*Harry Dean Stanton|Old Paul Edgecomb*Dabbs Greer) Tuesday January 12 2010 21:00 - 00:40 |

 | | The Mist - Trailer 2 Three-time Oscar-nominee Frank Darabont (The Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption) reunites with horror-master Stephen King to write and direct this chilling adaptation of the authors original short story. Following a violent thunderstorm, artist David Drayton and a small town community come under vicious attack from creatures prowling in a thick and unnatural mist. Local rumors point to an experiment called the The Arrowhead Project conducted at a nearby top-secret military base, but questions as to the origins of the deadly vapor are secondary to the groups overall chances for survival. Retreating to a local supermarket, Drayton and the survivors must face-off against each other before taking a united stand against an enemy they cannot even see! Directed by: Frank Darabont Starring: Thomas Jane, Marcia Gay Harden, Alexa Davalos |
