About finderFACE

finderFACE is a homegrown web site devoted to keeping tabs on people in the public eye here in the UK. Every day the site scans Google News, Amazon Products, Flickr Photographs, YouTube Videos and Blog Posts to provide all content relevant to a person on a single page.

In addition, we scan upcoming movie releases and TV appearances and provide sections on these too. Finally, we build connections between people via their entry in Wikipedia and every person is rated daily based on the density of news articles that are currently appearing on the web. The top rated people will appear each day in the 'In the News' section above.

Please browse away, clicking on the Random Person button is often a great way to start. I hope you enjoy the site, please feel free to send any feedback or suggestions to admin@finderface.co.uk.

Coming up on Television

The Mouse That Roared
Adapted from Leonard Wibberley's novel The Wrath of Grapes, this wry little comedy opens brightly, but quickly loses direction as its one joke is stretched to breaking point. The idea of a tiny country declaring war on America to benefit from aid in defeat is a lovely one, but not even Peter Sellers in three widely differing roles can compensate for the longueurs that occupy the film's final hour. Jean Seberg (whose next picture - Jean-Luc Godard's A Bout de Souffle - would make her an international star) is wasted in support, along with David Kossoff and William Hartnell.
